- We're hungry. Wake up and eat.
- RAS:
- Nothing doing.
- Hypothalamus:
- HUNGRY. GET. UP. CONSUME. FOOD.
- RAS:
- La la la not listening. Sleeping.
- PFC:
- Wha?
- Hypothalamus:
- FOOD!
- RAS:
- SLEEP!
- PFC:
- Hypothalamus is right. We have enough trouble with not eating when we're hungry. We can go back to sleep after.
- RAS:
- Still. Not. Listening.
- PFC:
- I'm executive function. I get to make the decisions.
- RAS:
- I'm going to stop firing now, and you'll go back to sleep whether you like it or not.
and then it did.
