It's sort of sad that this todo list from 10 years ago is still the third Google hit for my name. I think less than half of the things in that list ever got done.
::shrug:: At least the third Google hit for your name actually IS you. By my count, you have 9 of the top 10. (All 10, if you also create beautiful sculpture and furniture on the side.) (I'm 2 of the top 10 for my name, if you include ambiguous LinkedIn and Facebook hits; then again, I've tried NOT to use my full name on the internet, at least until I have something big to promote.)
Also, anyone stumbling across that on the internet would probably assume everything got done; and even if it was someone else on the thread, they probably wouldn't remember what happened. (Depressing, but true.) Heck, I'm surprised you remember!
Unrelatedly, that was an interesting post yesterday! I'd always wondered exactly how bad sites could do stuff without actually causing you to download or run a file; now I understand at least one way, and it makes me far more paranoid (even though you're fixing that particular way).
