Which song is it a reference to? I have heard some, but by no means all, of their material.
queenpam had the same problem with scones/cookies. I'm actually happy to lump them under scones, but I can see where people might not.
It was pretty obvious to me when I read it the first time that CHOAM was a stand-in for OPEC, tbh. Also I had some pretty serious problems with the worldbuilding even at that point...
