all else being equal i'd rather not be sitting here in the lab waiting for the computer to shuffle data off one medium and onto another, but it must be done, and it's kind of nice to be able to march down the hill to Geisel Library and check out the book that was just plugged on someone's blog that you were reading while the video editor did its thing.
