Being an old free software hacker I am wholeheartedly1 in favor of this giving away stuff on the internets for free. I don't usually write fiction, but by happenstance I do have something to offer today:
Cromulence Experiment,a two-page short story in the form of a lab report for the class I was TAing last quarter. It was originally a handout for the students, demonstrating how to write a lab report that satisfied all of the professor's requirements, while not being cribbable for any of the actual labs they had to do. Credit for inspiration and style goes to Girl Genius.
The work is licensed under the Creative Commons BY-SA 3 license. You can download the preferred form for modification.
1 I do not now, nor will I ever, endorse the breaded clams.
