zwolit would be nice if the ups guy would show up, with the replacement DVD burner, so that i can repair and back up the desktop computer that's currently in pieces on the floor, so that i can start using it instead of this laptop that's really not cut out for C++ hacking.
also it would be nice if i had an internet connection that wasn't someone rather far away from here's unsecured wireless hub, because that computer was most recently a headless server and i think it hasn't got X installed.
also also, for the old desktop computer now repurposed as a media center, a letterbox format television or monitor costing no more than fifty u.s. dollars? h.d. nice but not required.
