I'm in the mood to take pithy sentence-like notes on what I'm doing today, and far more people read this than my Facebook account, so. Will be updated occasionally until tomorrow.

• has not mastered the art of grilling toast on the stove.
• has not mastered the art of patch-queue-fu, either. Doh.
• is drinking chamomile tea spiked with honey and cayenne pepper.
• wonders if the downstairsniks will ever be done with the washing machine.
• wants an Emacs plug-in that extracts a base64 blob (data: url, but is okay if I have to select it myself) from the file he's editing, decodes it, dumps it into a temp file, runs GIMP on it, re-encodes the result and replaces the original.
• has managed to fake the aforementioned plugin with a python script and M-1 M-|, yay.
• just wasted 10 minutes because he typed a file name wrong and didn't see it.
• has nailed it to the wall, baybee.
• is finally able to start the laundry.
• has more chamomile, cayenne, and honey tea. Best thing for sore throats ever.
• is a little surprised he can get away with this particular trick.
• has not nailed it to the wall after all, but may have nailed this other one, so that's maybe sorta okay, i guess.

In other news, this persistent cough can go away any time now. Really. I'd be fine with that.
